Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tracklang. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Tracklang is a language exam-preparation platform offering tests, drills, a vocabulary vault, and diagnostic tools for IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, HSK, JLPT, TOPIK, and similar exams. The service is currently in beta and may change without notice.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy, or redistribute test content, drill items, or vocabulary lists; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer the recommendation engine; (c) automate access to the service except through APIs we explicitly publish; (d) use the service to harass other users; (e) submit content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.

4. Beta status

During the beta, the service is provided free of charge. Features may be added, removed, or rate-limited at any time. We may reset accounts, learning data, or leaderboards if required for product changes, with reasonable notice where possible.

5. Pricing changes

After the beta ends, a paid tier will be introduced. Accounts that registered before the end of the beta will receive founding-member pricing as announced at that time. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any paid tier becomes mandatory.

6. Content ownership

Test content, drill items, audio, and curated vocabulary are owned by Tracklang or licensed from third parties. Your learning data (your answers, your custom vault entries) belongs to you; you grant us a non-exclusive license to process it solely to operate and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

Tracklang does not guarantee any specific exam score. Score outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including study time, prior knowledge, and exam-day conditions. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50 if no payments were made (e.g. during the beta).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, or to comply with legal obligations.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tracklang is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved in that jurisdiction's courts unless local consumer law provides otherwise.

11. Changes

We will post material changes to this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
